HOURLY NON-EXEMPT POSITION

 

POSITION TITLE: Certified Maintenance Associate                                  SHIFT: 2nd

SECTION OR DEPARTMENT:  Electronics Division

 REPORTS TO:  Maintenance Superintendent

 

LOCATION:  Edmonton, Kentucky

 BASIC POSITION DUTIES:   

 

  • Clearly understand and follow all Maintenance Procedures for production equipment and plant. follow standard procedures.
  • Preventive and routine maintenance activities.
  • General Repairs.  Must be able to function as a technician.
  • Support Production Associates.
  • Responsible for safe and quality conscious moving and set-up of equipment. 
  • Help maintain spare parts inventory.
  • On call to support plant facilities or process during emergency situations.
  • Provide assistance to production in developing safe work practices. 
  • Completes Work orders as assigned.
  • Flexible work schedule to accommodate maintenance emergencies or changes in manufacturing schedule.
  • Establish, coordinate, and document on time preventive and routine maintenance activities. 
  • Understand and execute emergency procedures per “Emergency Procedures Manual”.
  • Be qualified or become qualified as first responder.
  • Understand, practice and enforce company policies, rules and procedures.
  • Effectively communicate issues among all shifts and departments.
  • Utilize communication Skills.
  • Other duties as necessary.

  

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

 2 year certificate from an accredited institution in an approved multi-discipline Industrial Maintenance Area, such as Automated Manufacturing, Industrial Maintenance, Electronics/Electrical Maintenance.

 

 

ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS:

 

  • Reports to Maintenance Superintendent.
